First, I want to wish everyone a Happy Memorial Day. May those who have gone before us Rest in Peace.
The film festival went awesomely well, and I'm shooting a film today! Amazing things ahead. More details on both to come, but I gotta go get into character.
"Every morning I stay in bed for ten minutes to ponder my place in the universe. Then I wash my face and check my karma." - Drew Barrymore
Shooting a film on Saturday (great supporting role - yay!), had an audition Friday (Tim was my reader, and he was awesome at it. Hooray, team work!), getting ready to start GEFF NYC again on Tuesday (2nd annual already? Wow), gearing-up for another film audition, prepping for GEFF LA, etc. Gotta get back to it. More work to do. It's good work, though! Acting work? Count me in! Running a film festival? I'd rather be working like a mad woman for myself than work for someone else.

Sorry for taking two weeks to update. Between GEFF Cancun, GEFF Worldwide, the internet connection being awful, and being in Cancun, I was a little overwhelmed.
It's been an excellent two weeks since my last update. Tim just got cast in his first "under 5" for a TV show (Momsters, episode #104. Go ahead. Go to Facebook and congratulate him directly. I'll wait here.), we accomplished three "first-evers" (first film festival to operate in three different locations, first film festival to operate in two different countries, first film festival to be structured as ours is, with each branch competing with each other for GEFF Worldwide), my Spanish got a lot better (it's still dreadful, mind you, but much less so than it was April 30), and we both have been cast in two more films. Good news on all fronts!
