It's been an effective week. My birthday, an episodic shoot ("Living In Exile." Check it out.), being requested for three auditions, and having a manager request a meeting with me next week? If you can't call that effective, it's at least compelling. Maybe not quite "epic" yet, but I'm getting there.
In case you're wondering, my birthday was FABULOUS. Between the spectacular party (thanks to Tim's sign painting, sign hanging, cool hat-gathering, constant running back and forth for party necessities, like wine and snacks, and just being his incredible self) and gathering with friends, fun was had by all. Apparently, a lot of people freak-out when their 20s are over. Not me. My 20s were a combination of awkward, general hell, and, finally, amazing. The prior two had their uses and got me to where I am, but now I'm happy to carry on with more amazing.
Speaking of, I'll keep you cats updated on anything that happens with the auditions and the manager meeting. Whether I collaborate with any, it's never an exercise in futility. It's business. You can always learn something.
"I'm not 25 years old anymore, nor do I want to be. I wouldn't even want to go back to being 30. You know what I mean? That journey, I've done it already. I don't want to do it again. It's a lot of work to get through it, and I am excited about moving forward. I think that people get caught up in getting back to some place that they already passed or to a place where you cannot stay."

I couldn't have said it better myself, Cameron.
