I saw that Actors' Equity was holding auditions for "Detroit" and "Soap Myth" today, so I thought, "Why not go? What's the worst they could do? Tell me that they're not seeing non-Equity and tell me to leave my headshot there." Needless to say, I went, and while I couldn't audition for "Detroit" ("They're not allowed to audition non-Equity actors, but you can leave your headshot for them."), I actually got to audition for the amazing Cindi Rush (yay!) for "Soap Myth!" All in all, another good day. It's no surprise, though--I never really seem to have anything worse than a good day! Now that I think about it, I haven't had a bad day since I moved here!
On that note, I'll end with a great David Brinkley quote:
“A successful person is one who can lay a firm foundation with the bricks that others throw at him or her.”
Toodles! OMG, did I just say "toodles?" *Sigh...
