I've been crazy, CRAZY busy, and am getting ready for the craziness to escalate to an absurd level! Getting ready to do "Bard at the Bar" on May 31st through my Shakespearean lab at Simon Studio (classic Hamlet scene, delightful All's Well That Ends Well scene, along with a little fun in Macbeth and Anthony and Cleopatra), shooting a short film this weekend, shooting four other shorts/scenes in the next three weeks, doing a showcase the beginning of June, then doing a pilot in July! OWWWWW! SO FREAKING EXCITED! I'll finally be able to put my freaking reel together! I will definitely post that as soon as I have it, as that is the purpose of having a reel. It'd be rather foolish to have a reel but keep it only for my own viewing. Even I don't operate on that level of foolishness.
OOO--and I submitted for a MAJOR casting for The Walking Dead! I'm so ridiculously jittery about that. I have been dying to play a role on this show since the first time I saw it, and now an envelope of all the is Jolynn is on its way to them. Keep your fingers crossed for me! Ok, seriously, I have a lot of work to do, so as usual, I will head-off with a FABULOUS Mel Brooks quote: “There’s no lightning. It’s hard work. You take a fairly good idea, you get yourself top talent, you pay attention to your instincts and you back it up with incredibly hard work.”
