I've been having a hard time processing the seemingly exponential increase in mass shootings. We've had a problem in the U.S. with this for at least 20-some years, but it's gotten a lot worse. No, I'm not going to say get rid of all of the guns. Not at all. What I'm saying is we need to license them and require background checks before selling them. Not gun control. Gun safety. I don't think that's unreasonable. This is not impeding on anyone's freedom, constitutionally speaking. It is definitely helping everyone maintain their freedom to live when they go through their day-to-day lives, though.
