January 12th, 20141/13/2014 I know it's 12:07AM, which means it's technically Monday morning, but I haven't gone to sleep yet, so I say it still counts as a Sunday post. Good enough? Good enough.
I'll keep my notes of the week short: Went to see a good friend do a reading, caught-up with some old friends, got some fantastic news from another friend, and am getting back in the swing of things after the Holiday break. That final note is good, of course, because I was starting to go a bit stir-crazy, feeling like I was sitting on my hands while waiting for the Entertainment community in general to go back to work. Glad to be back. Well, I didn't entirely just sit on my hands. I decided to start writing. Nothing serious yet, but it's a start. I'm taking the advice of some great people I've had the opportunity to speak to or to read the writings of: Rather than waiting around to be booked in films, TV shows, and plays, write something for yourself with a role that perfect for you and shoot it/produce it on your own. "I was in a taxi the other night, and we started talking about life and the taxi driver goes, "Chaos and creativity go together. If you lose one per cent of your chaos, you lose your creativity." I said that's the most brilliant thing I've heard. I needed to hear that years ago." - Woody Harrelson
