Guess who has COVID! I'll give you a hint if you need one - This is my blog. I'm very lucky because my symptoms aren't bad-- just feeling like I constantly have to clear my throat. People in my inner circle were hit so much harder when they caught it, so I'm quite grateful to only be dealing with the annoyance of said feeling of needing to clear my throat.
On a more positive note, I got to audition for a great TV show! I can't leave my apartment for a few days, mind you, but the audition was fun nonetheless. "I'm very lucky to have found the thing that makes me tick." - Ben Whishaw

Alright, we're still stuck 50 years in the past in the US, with members of the House and Senate trying to bring us back even further. Until we can get the people doing this out of the positions of power allowing them to do it, here are some organizations we can support to help everyone affected by what's being done:

Since posting them, I've gotten to audition for a horror film this week and will auditioning for a Co-Star role for a TV show next week! With everything happening, I'm happy to see good things going on, too. "I'm raised to actually think, to use my brain." - Jason Momoa How is everyone doing? There is so much to be distraught about right now and we need to help each other through this.

For one, I received my official acceptance letter to the conservatory of The American Academy of Dramatic Arts. I'm beyond thrilled about this! Also have been learning a ton in the first two weeks of AADA's summer lab (same school but separate from said conservatory). I'm absolutely confidant that my skill set is going to improve that much more through learning from and with such talented, creative people! "Commit to what you love - that's important. Believe in yourself and try as much as possible to do everything you do from a place of love. Not labor, but love." - Michael Mando There's a lot happening right now, much of it not good at all, so I do my best to focus on the wonderful things that are happening at the same time. Sound good?
Had my first two classes at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, and they were superb! The amount I've learned on one day of both is astonishing. My skills will improve throughout these next few weeks, I'm certain! To top it off, I got to act in another reading for W.W.O.W. Radio - Cranston & Spade Theater Company, and it was divine! The merry musings of embodying another character over the course of a show is always a boisterous event, but I'm honored to get to engage in said musings with such talented people! "I'm just looking always for characters that change, because I want to get better, as an actor and as a person." - Jeffrey Dean Morgan |
