I had another audition today! The details were specific: "Must be comfortable around standard poodles." It's all good. I love dogs, poodles included. Anyway, I got called in, and when I got there, I found out they wanted dancers. Surprise! Wasn't expecting that. I am a lot of things, but I am BY NO MEANS a dancer. Well, I gave it my all. I really did. Not surprisingly, they didn't call me back in. C'est la vie. It's the little things like this that keep me on my toes every day! Well, not actually on my toes today. Thankfully they didn't expect me to dance en pointe. There's a win. So that's all for today's casting unless they change their minds and decide to go for an attractive, off-beat character actor with two left feet.
This reminds me of another great quote: “If you’re gonna fail, fail big and take chances.” – Denzel Washington Goodnight!

Wow. Played in a showcase at Abingdon Theatre Wednesday night, played in a Shakespearean montage at The Players Club last Thursday, did two short films last week, two short films the week before, and now waiting on getting my reel within a week or so. I'm getting ready to start a brand new webseries in pre-production right now, too, and excitedly waiting to start a tv pilot next month. Yeah. How's that for a schedule? It's a bit overwhelming, but this is business--gotta keep it together! I know I'll be in a much better position once I have my reel, too, but I don't think I'm doing to bad right now, considering I'm operating like a dinosaur without one at the moment.
OH! I'm also meeting with an agent next Monday to see if we want to work together, freelance. I feel like it's all coming together. Ok, I have a ton of work to do, so that's all for now, blog followers.
